Andrew L. Rosen, M.D., FAAOS

Dr. Andrew Rosen received his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He then returned to his home state for medical school at East Tennessee State University College of Medicine. He then completed general surgery internship and Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Dr. Rosen then completed a Sports Medicine and Knee Reconstruction fellowship at the Insall-Scott-Kelly Institute at Beth Israel Medical Center.

Having finished his training, Dr. Rosen stayed on as a member of the attending staff at the ISK Institute. At that time, Dr. Rosen functioned as a member of the New York Yankees Medical Staff and participated directly in the care of the professional players. Dr. Rosen left Beth Israel in 2004 to join the NY•CONN Orthopaedic staff.

Dr. Rosen is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Rosen is the author of numerous scientific articles and book chapters regarding sports injuries, trauma and joint replacement. Dr. Rosen has given talks and presented papers at several national meetings, including the annual American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery meeting.

Dr. Rosen himself is an active marathon runner and uses his personal knowledge of running to provide treatment to many patients with running-related injuries and training problems.
