	Craig D. Tifford, M.D., FAAOS Dr. Craig Tifford received his Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He then went on to receive his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgical Residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. Dr. Tifford then completed a Sports Medicine fellowship at the internationally recognized Southern California Center for Sports Medicine in Long Beach, California. Dr. Tifford is *board certified* by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the following professional organizations: American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Arthroscopy Association of North America Dr. Tifford is the author of numerous scientific articles and book chapters, and is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. As a partner he is currently seeing patients at our Stamford, West Harrison and Bronx offices, and has been appointed the director of the newly established Orthopaedic Trauma Service at Stamford Hospital. His areas of interest include athletic injuries, arthroscopy, and reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder.
